We have worked closely with Steanne Solutions Ltd since 2008. They provide the GeoWorks Asset Management System which is extensively used by E.ON.
It has been remarkably easy to build a working relationship with staff within Steanne Solutions Ltd and has established them as a most reliable partner, working closely with us in helping to plan and implement system changes and upgrades within agreed timescales and with minimum disruption to our business.
The product support that Steanne provide is exemplary. I find that the requests to the support team are responded to by staff who have a great knowledge of the GeoWorks solution and are able to provide answers to issue in the majority of instances at the time of the initial request.
Skanska Infrastructure Services currently uses Steanne Solutions Geoworks and Geograd systems for two PFI contracts. These enable the asset history and mapping details to be recorded and for both routine and cyclic works for each discipline to be issued to the remote work crews, monitored and completed within their target dates.
The quality of service and support from Steanne has been good and provides value for money, and we can recommend both the company and systems used.
Steanne installed their Geoworks Asset Management and Work Planning system for Bournemouth Borough Council in 2007.
The original specification was for a system to enable the management of approx. 30,000 assets, including the issue and control of works orders to the maintenance contractor and for valuations of the completed works.

RBKC Streetlighting have been using Geoworks and the more recent Geoworks7 systems since 2010 (and also since 1999 by the Highways department) for the management of over 20,000 assets, including the issue and control of works orders and valuations.
A number of GeoMobile units are in use, both for conducting routine inspections by RBKC engineers and for the issue and completion of jobs by our contractors.
We find the system to be very user friendly and easy to use, and the Steanne support staff are consistently prompt and helpful in their responses to any issues raised.
